SPECIAL FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES: Use water spray to cool any drums exposed to fire.

UNUSUAL FIRE HAZARDS: Soaked rags can spontaneously combust if stored near combustibles or not handled properly (i.e. wadded up and left unattended). Store used rags in an approved container and dispose of properly. Rags may be washed with soap and water and hung up to dry in a well ventilated area or outside.

PROTECTIVE CLOTHING (FIRE): Firefighters must use full bunker gear including NIOSH-approved positive pressure self-contained breathing apparatus to protect against potential hazardous combustion or decomposition products and oxygen deficiencies.

FLASH POINT: 130.0 C or 266.0 F min. (ASTM 93)

Section 6- Accidental Release Measures

Turn off all sources of ignition, stop leak where possible and contain spill to smallest area possible.

For a small spill, use absorbent materials and dispose of properly.

For a large spill, contain the spill using a dike method. Collect liquid for salvage or disposal. Soak up remaining liquid using absorbent pads, sand or other inert absorbent materials. Dispose of according to State and Local and Federal regulations.
